if she could be any colour, she’d be orange.
her flesh is soft. but her finger tips are rough and the nails are nibbled to the skin. however her hands are good enough to write a lost turn and rearrange the concept to create a direction. and on this same hand, she can turn something scarred into something beautiful. if she could be any colour, for me, she’d explode with earth toned brightness, and become the source of fire and dirt and the deepest blue of the ocean, and the sun at 5am emerging seductively, and the sun at 8pm, setting hastily to deflect streams of orange and speckles of purpleish pink. the orange of empty, lonely train carts, fall leaves, the word playground, light fixtures, orange spotted butterflies. colour coded, coordinated accordingly.
